Faux feeling Something done to me
Ignored
Not a feeling: a thought about what someone did.
Also known as disregarded
‘I think you are acting as if I am not here or did not speak.’
Why it’s not a feeling
Ignored is a guess about another person’s attention: that they chose not to notice you or not to answer. Put ‘I think’ in place of ‘I feel’ and the sentence still works, so it is a thought. They may not have heard at all, and either way the loneliness or hurt you notice is still yours.

Needs
When these needs aren’t met
Saying it as a feeling
‘I feel ignored.’
When I said good morning twice and you kept looking at your screen, I felt hurt and lonely, because I need connection.
